Start
The band F-Pressers was formed in 2019. The members started playing together back in school and had their first performance on stage at a school concert, though under a different name. At that time, only Grisha (vocals) and Misha (guitar) from the current lineup were part of the band. In late spring of that year, along with their bassist (who later became the band’s videographer and designer), they recorded their first song, “Careless Life,” in the school auditorium. Without experience, sound engineering skills, or proper equipment, it was a challenging task, but the song was released nonetheless—albeit with a “demo” label.

After meeting many new musicians and gaining live performance experience, the band was finally ready to hit the studio to record their first EP, “Listen To.” This release featured their breakout song, “My Bike.” Surprisingly, upon release, the song didn’t gain much attention, but about six months later, both the band and the track started going viral on TikTok, helping F-Pressers attract a wider audience.

In 2024, F-Pressers partially relocated to Montenegro. While working on tracks for the deluxe album, they also released more experimental singles, exploring new facets of their sound. For example, in fall 2024, they dropped dance remixes of their latest track in collaboration with a DJ project led by the band’s vocalist.
Over the next two years, the band wrote new material and went through lineup changes. Ivan (drums) and Mikhail (initially the band’s manager, later its producer and bassist) joined F-Pressers. With this updated lineup, they immediately started working on new material, preparing a new single and their debut album. Around the same time, F-Pressers also began performing live and developing a more confident and unique sound.

Debute_Album
The band’s first album, “What You Need?” released in 2021, turned out to be very authentic and intimate. It was quite different from their live performances due to the lack of resources for a proper studio recording and limited equipment. The album was recorded in a makeshift space, with the band cutting costs on microphones and often not perfecting takes to save time. As a result, the record had a raw and honest feel, as if the band had gathered in a small room and played an intimate set.
Although the album didn’t attract much attention, F-Pressers continued performing actively, gradually gaining new fans.
Deluxe_Album
Despite aiming for a more produced sound, the album was still recorded in a DIY fashion at a house the band rented with their friends. It was released in fall 2023, featuring only 8 tracks instead of the originally planned 16. Because of this, the band decided to release a deluxe version of the album, including both new and previously unreleased songs.
Second_Album_Journey
At the end of 2022, the band traveled to Georgia to record their second album. This time, they moved away from their vintage, warm garage rock sound toward a more polished and vibrant pop-punk style. Over the course of a year, F-Pressers played numerous gigs, connected with the local music scene in Tbilisi, and worked tirelessly on the album, releasing some songs as singles along the way.
Berlin_Era
In September 2024, F-Pressers moved to Berlin and began releasing singles from their upcoming full-length album to build anticipation. In Germany, they have been actively performing and finalizing the album, which is expected to be released in spring 2025, though an official date has yet to be announced.
